Walter Höhn GmbH is the oldest of the companies. Since its establishment in 1970, it has manufactured mechanical components in the best German engineering tradition. Even though production of the parts takes place in the most modern CNC processing centers, the spirit of the founder remains alive without compromise to the precision of the mechanical production line. Walter Höhn GmbH is responsible for the manufacture of quality components used in the production of the actuators.

HKS Dreh Antriebe GmbH is primarily responsible for product development and sales. Since 1985, it has shared the same management with Walter Höhn GmbH. Owing to the acquired expertise found within HKS Dreh-Antriebe GmbH, HKS‘ rotary actuators are now the leading product in its sector within Europe. Together with its customers, HKS Dreh-Antriebe GmbH designs specialized solutions for specific tasks. For example, a research project done in cooperation with Technical University in Dortmund increased the efficiency and perfection of hydraulic rotary actuators. HKS Dreh-Antriebe GmbH is also responsible for customer service world-wide.

Another member of the HKS Group is the HKS Dreh-Antriebe GmbH & Co. KG in Neukirch (East-Germany). All larger rotary actuators are manufactured in the Saxonian enterprise.
