The HKS TiltRotator supports your hydraulic excavator with two new functions: The shovel can rotate endlessly and tilt up to 140°, 70° in both directions and this enables you to open up new fields of operation. You do not have to shunt the excavator so much because the manipulation possibilities of the implement with the HKS TiltRotator and the radius of action of your carrier device are enormously expanded. All this increases productivity and saves time and money!
Maximum benefit can be derived from this advantage, particularly in track laying, because the freedom of movement of 2-way excavators is very limited.
A major technical advantage which our HKS TiltRotator offers compared to other manufacturers is its cylinder-less construction. Our compact XtraTilt Power Actuator replaces the wider cylinder variant, liable to faults, with a maximum of ± 45° tilt angle complete. Because of the slightly higher structure of the HKS TiltRator the hydraulic excavator loses relatively little in terms of breakout and ripping power. The relationship between more power and saving due to greater efficiency of the carrier device clearly favours the HKS TiltRotator, the maximum breakout forces being of minor importance for normal use in the garden and landscaping sector, road building etc. If very high breakout and ripping forces are required, for example, the HKS TiltRotator can be broken down into individual modules or can also be used as a sandwich solution.
