Effective 1st October 2016, Daniel Hecker assumed the role of Managing Director at HKS Dreh-Antriebe GmbH in Wächtersbach and manages the company together with Günter Höhn and his daughter, Lena Resch. Daniel Hecker has 23 years of industry experience and comes to HKS from a stock-listed chemical group. His responsibilities included Controlling, Reporting and Precious Metal Weight Accounting at its German subsidiary, which generated more than €130 m in annual turnover, as well as at several foreign companies in Europe. Prior to that he held sales, marketing and procurement positions both in Germany and abroad. "I am looking forward to an exciting role at an outstanding company with great potential and a highly motivated and very professional workforce," says Daniel Hecker, describing his new challenge.

"With Daniel Hecker, we have gained an experienced professional for HKS. We will benefit from his expertise. I look forward to working with him and wish him every success in his new role," says Günter Höhn, Managing Director and co-founder of HKS Dreh-Antriebe GmbH, which is registered in Wächtersbach-Aufenau, Hesse, near Frankfurt am Main.

A new Managing Director is also to be appointed for the Technical responsibilities as of February 2017. The new Management Team will further expand the entrepreneurial and organisational operations of HKS Dreh-Antriebe GmbH. One of the challenging projects scheduled for 2017 is aimed at expanding the company's international presence and punctually meeting the resulting increased demand. For this purpose, a plant extension has already been started to increase the present capacities of the Neukirch site, Lusatia (Germany) and so to create more jobs. The year 2016 is the eighth in succession with record sales and also one of the highest recruitment rates in the history of the company, which is now taken as the benchmark for the coming years and paves the way for further recruitment.

Günter Höhn and Lena Resch will support the new Management until year end 2017 to ensure the continuity to our business partners. That way the success story of HKS will proceed and the family will pass over to the role of shareholders. In this position the shareholders will keep closely connected to the company and support strategically HKS in the future.
