HKS presents innovations for more efficiency, safety and flexibility
Bauma 2025 was a complete success for HKS Dreh-Antriebe GmbH: with a strong trade fair presence, numerous visitors and lively demand for the new products on show, the company clearly set the tone as a technological pioneer. Even on the first day of the trade fair, there was an exceptionally high level of visitor interest at the stand - a clear sign of the relevance of HKS innovations in the international arena.
The latest developments from HKS took centre stage at the trade fair:
The TR-K 200 TiltRotator with a tilt angle of up to 140° enables more precise work on narrow or awkward construction sites thanks to its remarkable freedom of movement - ideal for excavators in the 14-20 tonne class.
The new TR-K 380 extends the range of applications to heavy machines up to 38 tonnes. With a swivelling angle of 110° and 360° rotation, a solution has been introduced that sets new standards for heavy earthworks, canal construction and slope profiling.
In addition, XtraSense, the integrated load sensor, was presented as a real safety highlight:
The system records loads in real time, visualises them on the excavator display and protects man and machine with precise warning messages. The cloud connection offers additional options for monitoring and maintenance planning. HKS therefore not only offers greater safety, but also sustainable protection for investments. Another strong argument for many trade visitors was the high compatibility of HKS products with common quick-change systems and existing machinery. This flexibility enables simple integration into existing processes - without the need for retooling, but with a noticeable increase in efficiency.
In addition to the technical innovations, the general mood at Bauma 2025 was also a key topic. Despite geopolitical uncertainties and economic challenges, there was a noticeable sense of optimism - both on the exhibition grounds and in discussions with customers and partners.
Katrin Hennig, Deputy Head of Internal Sales at HKS, summarises it aptly:
‘A lot more visitors, the presence is great - lots of international visitors. And many visits to customers directly at their exhibition stands.’
At the same time, she observes cautiously positive signals in the market: ‘The downturn seems to have been reached, things are slowly picking up - but don't be too optimistic just yet.’
With regard to upcoming infrastructure programmes in particular, it is clear that many decision-makers are planning ahead:
‘Large construction companies are already planning for the upcoming economic stimulus package in order to have their equipment available when the infrastructure gets rolling.’
Marcus Ohl, contact person in the field sales team, emphasises in conclusion:
"The trade fair appearance once again emphasised the central role of HKS as an innovation driver in the industry. With solutions that combine efficiency, safety and sustainability, HKS offers the right drive for the construction industry of tomorrow."
Setting the course for the construction industry of tomorrow
With its strong presence at Bauma 2025, HKS Dreh-Antriebe impressively demonstrated that the company is one of the key driving forces in the industry. The product innovations on show - above all the TR-K 380 tilt rotator, the XtraSense safety system and tried-and-tested solutions such as the XtraTilt - hit the nerve of the times: greater efficiency, increased safety and flexible integration. The great visitor response and international interest confirm the company's course. HKS is looking to the future with a tailwind and a clear focus on innovation - as a reliable partner to the changing construction industry.
