Many excavator manufacturers and excavator dealers already offer HKS attachments with installation as part of their product range. We are also happy to provide you with a quote for the installation of your TiltRotator, RotoBox, or XtraTilt on-site.

The XtraTilt is maintenance-free. Only after a recommended operating period should the seals be replaced. As with comparable products, our XtraTilt (slew motor) does not require re-greasing or adjustment. This is where the well-known quality of HKS really stands out.

Yes, that is possible. For example, you can use an HKS XtraTilt combination on your excavator and underneath it, as a sandwich option, a RotoBox combination. The quick couplers must be compatible accordingly.

The installation of our HKS attachments (TiltRotator, XtraTilt, and RotoBox) is done either directly on the excavator (fixed stick connection) or via a quick coupler system (quick coupler adapter or quick coupler frame). Typically, a quick coupler (mechanical, hydraulic, or fully hydraulic) is mounted below the attachment to allow tools such as buckets, grapples, or milling heads to be exchanged, thus turning your excavator into a multifunction machine.

Installation is ideally carried out in your workshop by us or by your dealer and/or their partners. If a removal is required, please contact your dealer or get in touch with our service.

In general, the price depends on:

• The excavator class / tonnage class that determines the product size
• The quick coupler system you want to use (mechanical, hydraulic, fully hydraulic)
• Whether you want a sandwich solution
• Whether hydraulic tools are to be operated, requiring an HKS hydraulic rotary union to be installed in the RotoBox
• Which additional options you need, such as Mic 4.0, HKS Sensor, HKS XtraSense, 2D or 3D/GPS systems, valve technology
• Also, which additional hydraulic lines your excavator requires, as well as various installation kits, distributors, and valves

The advantages are very diverse:

• No damage to piston rods (cylinders), allowing the excavator operator to focus on their tasks
• Better field of vision, as there are no cylinders obstructing the view
• Less maintenance required
• Cylinders are less durable and may need to be replaced
• Our system is fully sealed, preventing dirt or moisture from entering
• Significantly higher slew angles of 2x55° (110°) or 2x70° (140°) – cylinders are technically unable to achieve higher tilt angles
• More economical in the long term due to reduced downtime for maintenance and service
• Your excavator can reach more working positions from a stationary position, enabling faster and more efficient work
• Lower fuel consumption, meaning less repositioning of your excavator and therefore additional fuel savings

Basically, you can operate all mechanical and hydraulic tools with an HKS TiltRotator, such as grapples, screening buckets, pallet forks, ditch cleaning buckets, compactors, or milling heads. However, there are limitations that require a thorough check on our part, for example if you want to work with a hydraulic hammer or other non-standard tools.
